Occasions to Celebrate

There are lots of events to celebrate in Spring and I've got two of them covered this month. Class is this Thursday (May 8th) 7-9 pm or Friday (May 9th) 10am-12pm.
I've got a beautiful Mother's Day card inspired by a fellow demonstrator Gretchen Barron. The card is pretty easy, but gorgeous.  And I'll show you how to make that cute triple bow.
I've been eyeing this darling baby card from Heather Summers and decided we needed to make it.  It's perfect for either a boy or a girl.
And these are great little treats made from the spiral flower die and NEW IN-COLORS.  Everyone who comes to class will take one of these home and a NEW Catalog.
Each card and/or flower is $2.  Class is always so fun, I hope to see you there.

It's time to SALE-A-Brate

This is the best time of year for Stampers. Time for free stuff. And this months class is an opportunity to play with some of this free stuff.

Class is this Friday February 28 at 1 or 7. I have several cards to choose from and you can make the ones you want. Each card will be $2.

And because this is Sale-A-Bration(SAB) time I'm throwing in a bonus. If you place a SAB order of $50 or more by March 1st, not only will you get to pick your free SAB item(s) from the catalog, but I'll also throw in some Baker's Twine of your color choice. Cool!

You'll notice that all of these cards have banners on them.  My favorite two products in the SAB brochure are the Banner Blast stamp set and the coordinating Banner punch .  So I've focused on those for this months class.
This first card uses several trendy things.  First, obviously the banner.  Second, Gold (the middle banner is punched from a gold foil sheet) and third, the chalk board technique.  I've been dying to  try this technique and it is so much fun.

This star card uses another fun SAB product, the dots embossing folder.  I'll have several options for the sentiment, so you can customize it to your needs.

These next two cards showcase a few options you can choose with this card.  Change up the ink color and choose either "hi" or "love" to customize your card.

And this card uses some new DSP from the occasions catalog called "Retro Fresh." I love it.
I hope you can join us this Friday.  See you then!

Merry Monday #93

This weeks Merry Monday Challenge is to use ornaments.  I was a little worried, because I don't have any ornament stamps.  But I do have MDS and a silhouette, so I could cut out the ornament punch.

Then I saw this cute Valentine card on Pinterest and knew I wanted to make it into a Christmas card.  The layout is an exact case of that card, but it was so cute, I didn't want to change a thing.  I just switched out the word and the colors and snowflakes instead of hearts.

Thanks for stopping by.

Valentine Class

These are the cute projects we'll be making at my house this Thursday, February 6th at 1 or 7.
This first card features the stamp set Banner Blast along with it's coordinating punch, both of which are available free with a $50 order during Sale-A-Bration.  The inspiration came from this card I found on Pinterest.  I will have other sentiments available if you want it to say something other than Happy V-day.
These treat holders are made with the new scallop tag topper which I am so excited to play with some more. They hold a fun size Kit-Kat or Peanut Butter Cup.
And this card is another Pinterest find.  I love that place and it's perfect for me right now, while my crafting time is limited, I don't have to spend time coming up with an idea.  I just pull up my pins and start creating.  So you can find the original card here.  The only thing I changed was making the background Vanilla instead of white.  The word love and the red hexagons are all punched from sparkly red paper, so while this card is easy to make it has a big WOW factor.
Each item will be $2. I hope you can join us and if you can't, but are still interested in making the projects I can put a kit together for you. Just let me know.

Merry Monday #93

I am determined to get this posted on time so I can finally enter this challenge. Christmas Challenge #93 was to use Chocolate, Kraft, Vanilla, and Red with ribbon.

I knew immediately that I wanted to use Stitched Stockings.  This is one of my very favorite Christmas stamp sets ever.  And the quilted ribbon is another favorite.  The sentiment comes from More Merry Messages.

Merry Monday # 92

This is my submission for last weeks Merry Monday challenge #92 to use a snowman.  I missed the deadline, but it's still 4 more Christmas cards for my stash.

At first, I didn't think I had any stamps with a snowman on them and then I remembered this one, which is not in a Christmas collection.  The snowman is tiny, but it's there.
And the inside...
It's hard to tell, but I put Dazzling Diamonds on the the little dots around the tree and on the ground.

The colors are Island Indigo and Pool Party with silver ribbon and Winter Frost DSP.

Getting a Jump on my Christmas cards

I didn't get any Christmas cards sent out for 2013 and so I made it one of my goals for this year to participate in the Merry Monday challenges each week.   I've been following the challenges and wanting to participate for a while now, so now is the time.  This challenge (#90) was to use ribbon or twine.   Not so hard.   I used the stamp set Endless Wishes.  I embossed the smaller snowflake and sentiment with silver embossing powder and the bigger snowflake in Midnight Muse. I used the silver ribbon from the Holiday Catalog which has been carried over to the Occasions Catalog.  Love it.
I also stamped the inside.
And since I was making one, I thought I'd make four.
