Dresser Card

I've had this dresser card idea saved for a while now, and decided that it would be best used as the birth announcement for my fourth boy. Being the fourth, we have everything we need and most things we want so he's not getting a lot of new stuff, so I want something about his arrival to be special and I thought this card would do it. I had to follow a couple of links, but the tutorial I used can be found on Jackie Topia's blog.
I used crumb cake cardstock and the word window punch for the drawers and retired brads and stamp set for the onesie. Then I used my birthday present, a Silhouette Cameo and MDS to cut out the stars. The monkey was also print and cut on my Cameo. The drawers were a little difficult to adhere, I hope they all made it attached, through the mail.

I'm hoping this blog post brings the end of my 4 month hiatus, but with four boys, I just never know what my day will look like or where my time needs to be spent. Hope you enjoy this card.

I told you...

...I had several baby cards I needed to get done.
These all follow the same layout I found here.

On this one, the layout is just flipped over. I like this one the best.

All paper and vellum sayings are DCWV, ribbon is from Michaels and eyelets from Provo Craft

Baby Card for a Challenge

I have a lot of baby cards to make so you'll probably be seeing a lot of those. I bought this stamp set after Adam and Jill had their twins, but I thought I would probably never know another person who had twins and it would end up being a waste. Then, Emily announced she was having twins and I was so excited to use this stamp set. And now, I'm a month late getting it done and sent. Oh well, I'm assuming she is too busy with the babies to read this blog before the card gets to her. The layout idea is from another challenge, which you can see here.

All paper is from DCWV and the stamp is By Ones and By Twos SU!
