New Layout

This is a quick post, I have to get it posted and linked before the challenge ends. The layout is the challenge, although I've left off a few things because the image panel was so long. The sketch challenge is called IA 125. And I found the ideas to punch out larger flowers for the branch here.

I've told youthis paper and color combo is my current favorite and I'll probably be using it again soon. I just love it. This card is for someone special whose birthday is coming up. I hope she likes it.

Inspired Thank You

This is another card based on a sketch challenge. It was probably the quickest card I've ever made, less than an hour. Here's the sketch:
And here's my card.

I flipped the sketch on its side to accommodate my image. I am loving this color combo, rose red and bermuda bay. I have been on a roll lately with actually getting cards made, instead of just thinking about it. These sketch challenges have really been helpful.

Colorful Birthday

I saw a card similar to this on Splitcoaststampers.com but it was a pink monochromatic and I think birthday cards need to be fun and colorful. I made a few at once to include in my family reunion auction donation, but I should have made one first as a test run. I would have made the cake piece much smaller and I think it still needs something else, but can't think of anything. Any ideas?

Baby Rattle

Isn't that cute. I can't take credit for it, I found the idea here. It's a scalloped circle with a transparency covering the hole. Then pop-up foam tape makes a circle that creates a barrier for the beads inside. Clever, huh. There are some really creative people out there and I love that they share. I also made a blue and yellow one, but forgot to take a picture of it before I gave it away.

For Fun

This is a cute card I made for two birthdays in January. I CASEd it from my Stampin' Up demonstrator Loni (hi!). I made a few changes and I think it's really fun.

If you click on the picture, you'll be able to see the sparkle better. It's really pretty.

Birthday Tulips

These are two more cards I made with those tulips. This one was for my sister. I used the layout I found here. I tried to find something better to do with the "Happy Birthday", but I couldn't figure out what to do and I was running out of time to get it in the mail.
This one was for my sis-in-law. Again, I struggled with where to put the "Happy Birthday," and this time, I just left it off. I was in a hurry (I'm noticing a pattern) to photograph the card, so it's not great, but I really like the layout, so I might make another one and get a better photograph.

Easter Basket

I made these cute Easter baskets for the ladies I visit teach. So cute and easy.
