Page A Day in May 12-15

Here are three more pages. I know that I've counted this as 4 pages, but that's because the second page, the little things/big things page I actually made three of for 3 different scrapbooks.

This page includes some fun new downloads, the stitching. I knew I wanted to buy them as soon as I saw them, but I decided to wait until I had a project that needed them. Turns out, the project came sooner than I anticipated. It's perfect.

Page A Day in May 11

I just love this page, probably because I love these pictures. It was actually a fairly quick and straight forward layout. Stampin' Up! has a great website for working with this program mydigitalstudio.net. I went looking for ideas and saw a layout similar to this and then whipped this up PDQ. The only thing not already in the program is the font for "Snow Bear" which I found on some free font website.

Here's my 10th layout for May. I was getting a little overwhelmed with my multi-picture layouts so I decided to pick a few layouts that only have 1-3 pictures. You'll be seeing those as soon as I get them uploaded. This one is done with MDS and the My Sweet Pea kit that you can purchase from SU! online. It has my favorite color Taken with Teal (it even matches the shirt I was wearing), so I had to buy it.

If you have any questions about digital scrapbooking, the My Digital Studio program, or anything else you see, just let me know. It really is a fantastic program and look at how much I'm getting done.

Punch Bunch

This is a set of cards using an image from Punch Bunch. Mostly simply, easy cards.

This uses a technique called embedded embossing. I punched out the image, mounted it to a punched scalloped circle and then attached it to the other paper and then used and embossing folder and when it comes out, it looks like it's all part of the same paper. Really cool technique.

This card is pretty much all non-SU! stuff, but I really like it and wanted to share. The line of stitching down the middle of the butterflies is hand sewn with a new product I found, Sew Easy. I'm pretty excited about trying it out some more, even though it probably takes longer than using a sewing machine, I don't own one so I'll do this for now.

A few cards

A quick break from scrapbooks for a few cards I've made. They're all made from a set called Sweet Summer. It's one of my new favorite sets.

(sorry, forgot to rotate it.)

I love them all.

Page A Day in May 9

This is the first page in R's baby book. I've had the idea for this layout for so long, intending to do an actual paper version, but if I wait for that, it'll never get done. I hope he doesn't mind having a digital album. Luckily, he's a boy so I don't think he'll mind at all.
Everything I used for this layout comes with MDS when you buy it. It was actually a quick and easy layout.

Page A Day in May 6,7, & 8

I'm a little slow posting, blogger has been down for a little while and truth be told, I'm a few pages behind, but I think I can catch up. These next two pages are a double spread for my oldest's book. I couldn't find anything in MDS (My Digital Studio) that really screamed Easter to me, but I did find something I liked online, so I bought the digital kit and then easily used them in MDS to create these cute pages.

And this uses the same digital kit for my next son's album.

Page A Day in May 5

I love these pictures of the boys holding hands. Ryan was only 5 months old. It's just so sweet.

Page A Day in May 1&2

May is National Scrapbooking Month and so I've decided to attempt a digital page a day in May so that on the 31st I will have 31 pages to send to the printer. Here are my first two pages from JJ's birthday last year.

These pages are made with Stampin' Up!'s digital scrapbooking program My Digital Studio. I love it!
