Simple Gifts Class

This time of year, I'm always looking for cute little gifts to give my kid's teachers, the ladies I visit teach and other people I want to show a little kindness to.  With that in mind, I've created these three gifts  and hopefully it will help you out as well.
This first one is a little desktop calendar for 2015. It's only 4x4 so it's perfect for a teachers desk.  You can customize it with any paper and ribbon I have, so it will work for both men and women. Cost is $2.50
These next two pictures are fry box treat holders filled with goodies.  Cost is $2.00 and includes the candy and bag.

This last picture is a post-it note holder and pen.  Again, customizable for a man or women.  These are both girly because all my boys have female teachers. Cost $3.

Class will be help Tuesday December 9 at either 10 am or 7 pm.

Because these projects are customizable and I have limited supplies for the calendars, I need you to RSVP by Monday and tell me what projects you want to make and how many.  Thanks

These are three of the projects you can make at this months card class.  Class will be Tuesday Nov 18th at 10 or 7.

This first project is a gift card holder.  It makes giving a gift card much more personal.  This project is $1.50.
These next two cards are perfect to thank someone or tell them you're thinking about them.  Each one is $2.

Warmest Wishes for Merry Monday #131

I finally got a chance to participate in another Merry Monday challenge. I don't think I've done one since February, although I always have good intentions of making a card. But I think the impending holiday season has provided the kick I need to get my Christmas cards done. So here it is. This weeks challenge was non traditional Christmas colors.
I've used blue and green, and while I know that green is in fact a traditional Christmas color, it's usually a darker, foresty green, and I've used a lighter green. Anyway, the paper is SU! All is Calm, which is where I got the color combo, although technically, I got the color combo from a similar card I saw floating around on Pinterest (I love that place). This card is definitely non-traditional for me, but I do love it.

And here's the inside.  Both sentiments come from the set Christmas Bliss and the trees are from Festival of Trees.
Thanks for stopping by today.

Some more Halloween Happiness

Here are two more cards done with My Digital Studio and the Halloween Happiness digital stamp. These cards use similar colors and an easy, simple style.

 Thanks for looking!!

Halloween Banners

Banners are so popular and easy to make fit any theme, so here is a banner for Halloween. It's an easy card and pretty self-explanatory. The rhinestones in the middle are regular rhinestones that I colored black and orange with sharpies.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Halloween Happiness

These two cards feature one of my favorite stamps from last years holiday catalog Halloween Happiness, but I never bought the actual stamp. Instead, I bought the digital stamp for My Digital Studio. This stamp begs to be colored different colors and with MDS, I can color and know that I will get a crisp, clean image every time. I've had a lot of fun playing with this image and have several cards for you to see, both here and on my facebook page.
Both cards used up some old patterned paper but the have current chevron ribbon.  I love the chevron ribbon.  I try to add a roll or two to every order.

Thanks for stopping by today and let me know if you have any questions.

Cards will be $2 each and the pumpkin treat holder will include a treat for $3.

Let's Party!!

It's always good to have a few birthday cards on hand, so come to class this week and make a few so you're never caught without a card.
Class will be Friday August 29th at 10 am or 7 pm. Cards are $2 each, however, if you are new to my class or bring a (new to class) friend, you can make 2 cards for free.

These four cards use two of my favorite birthday stamp sets and they are both clear photopolymer. Don't know what photopolymer is, come to class and find out. The top two cards feature Endless Birthday Wishes, which has tons of great phrases that you can mix and match for the perfect birthday sentiment. The bottom two cards use a set called Age Awareness.  I love the font, and it has several cheeky phrases like "I remembered your birthday, thanks Facebook."

Also at class, I'll be giving out the holiday catalog.  It is amazing!! You will definitely want your own copy.  Hope to see you there!

Pick a Pack of Pretty Paper

This month Stampin' Up! is having a promotion, Buy 3 packs of Designer Paper and get one free.

So we're going to make cards and projects highlighting some great uses for designer paper.  First up is a Fry Box, using SU!'s new Big Shot die.  This is a great box to give cute little gifts for friends.

This next card uses the new Confetti Celebrations paper.  Tons of great prints to make awesome cards.
And this last card features the Lullaby DSP.  Here I've used it for a baby card, but it's great for all sorts of occasions.
Class will be this Thursday July 31st (sorry for the late notice, still not as "with it" as I'd like to be).   You can come at 1 or 7 pm.  Cards and projects are $2 each.  Please RSVP to let me know you are coming.

Let's hear it for the boys!

With Father's Day coming up, hopefully you're thinking about the men in your life. This month's class is all about masculine cards, some of the hardest to make. I can do cute and girly, but manly, that's tougher. I think these three cards are perfect.

These two cards use a stamp set called Gorgeous Grunge.  This is my featured product for the month of June and you can get it at 20% off this month only.
Class will be Thursday June 12th at 10 a.m. or 7 p.m. at my house.  Each card is $2. RSVP to reserve your spot.

Occasions to Celebrate

There are lots of events to celebrate in Spring and I've got two of them covered this month. Class is this Thursday (May 8th) 7-9 pm or Friday (May 9th) 10am-12pm.
I've got a beautiful Mother's Day card inspired by a fellow demonstrator Gretchen Barron. The card is pretty easy, but gorgeous.  And I'll show you how to make that cute triple bow.
I've been eyeing this darling baby card from Heather Summers and decided we needed to make it.  It's perfect for either a boy or a girl.
And these are great little treats made from the spiral flower die and NEW IN-COLORS.  Everyone who comes to class will take one of these home and a NEW Catalog.
Each card and/or flower is $2.  Class is always so fun, I hope to see you there.

It's time to SALE-A-Brate

This is the best time of year for Stampers. Time for free stuff. And this months class is an opportunity to play with some of this free stuff.

Class is this Friday February 28 at 1 or 7. I have several cards to choose from and you can make the ones you want. Each card will be $2.

And because this is Sale-A-Bration(SAB) time I'm throwing in a bonus. If you place a SAB order of $50 or more by March 1st, not only will you get to pick your free SAB item(s) from the catalog, but I'll also throw in some Baker's Twine of your color choice. Cool!

You'll notice that all of these cards have banners on them.  My favorite two products in the SAB brochure are the Banner Blast stamp set and the coordinating Banner punch .  So I've focused on those for this months class.
This first card uses several trendy things.  First, obviously the banner.  Second, Gold (the middle banner is punched from a gold foil sheet) and third, the chalk board technique.  I've been dying to  try this technique and it is so much fun.

This star card uses another fun SAB product, the dots embossing folder.  I'll have several options for the sentiment, so you can customize it to your needs.

These next two cards showcase a few options you can choose with this card.  Change up the ink color and choose either "hi" or "love" to customize your card.

And this card uses some new DSP from the occasions catalog called "Retro Fresh." I love it.
I hope you can join us this Friday.  See you then!
