Can you stand some more hearts

I think these are the last of the Valentine's cards, if you can handle a few more.

Now this last one is a 6x8 piece of paper. It's supposed to go in a shadow box frame as soon as I get myself down to a craft store to buy one. The idea came from a blogger I follow regularly, Nancy Riley, and you can see her original here. Most of the squares are just like her's but I did change the placement and had to change a few to fit things I had. I don't have a ton of Valentine's decorations, so I'm really excited to have this to hang up next year. I think it turned out darling.

More V-day cards

These next cards are not ones I made. I participated in a swap with other SU! demos and these are some of the ones I got back. I really like them. They use some new stamp sets that are only available until April. I'll post the name of the stamp and the creator after each card.

This is a single stamp called Be My Valentine created by Sue Stratton
This set is Valentine Defined by Jan Shaw
Stamp Set: XOXO (notice the red glimmer paper, so cool) by Deb Prante
Also XOXO by Linda Whitten (the LOVE circle is a spinner, very cool)
And Valentine Defined again by Sue Erickson

I thought these were all great ideas. I haven't purchased any of these stamps, but these samples sure make it tempting.

Valentine's Cards

I had intended on posting one Valentine's Card each day for the first 14 days of February, but obviously that didn't happen. So here are the first 5.

On this first one, the balloon strings are hand drawn.

This next one is probably my favorite; I just love the richness of the colors
Stampin' Up sent us some rub-ons to try. I don't really use rub-on's so I wasn't sure what to do with them, but I saw someone use them for these 3x3 cards and so that's what I did here.
I don't love birds, so this image isn't my favorite, but the card is easy to do and it looks okay.
I love, love, love this image of the dandelion with heart petals flying. It always makes some of my favorite cards.
I've had these cards made for weeks, but do you think I bothered to actually put them in the mail. No. So today, I'm putting them in the mail, but they will be late. Oh, well. It's the thought that counts, right.
