Let's see if we can encourage Spring to come a little faster by creating some flowers. At this class we'll be learning 4 fun ways to make flower embellishments for cards, scrapbooks, or home decor.
As I started writing this post, I realized that I had not taken pictures of each individual project and now it's too raining and gloomy to do so, so I apologize. You can click on the picture for a larger version.
First is a ribbon flower notebook (in the back, green background, red/orange flower). Stampin' Up! has this awesome ribbon right now that is perfect for making this flower. And this notebook is so handy, it's the second one I've made for myself. Project cost: $3.50
Next is a little rose box (also green with white polka dot paper and pink rose on top). I started making these flowers last year and they are perfect for dressing up home decor. This little box is one idea and it holds lots of M&Ms or jelly beans, a perfect party table decoration. Project cost $2.50.
Third is a card using a distressed flower. Project cost $1.50.
And last is a paperclip bookmark. The paper clip itself is about 5 inches long and you'll be able to choose from a couple of different colors. We'll be using a few punches to put this flower together. Project cost $1.50.
If you make all four projects the total cost is $8.
Classes will be held this Thursday, March 24 at 10:30 or 7. Please RSVP by Wednesday night, although sooner would be appreciated.
